The MPC860 Processor Card functions as a generic MPC860 resource board, provides a flexible environment for developers implementing MPC860-based networking application. It is a self contained system with MPC860 and some peripherals assembled on a small PCB, included system memory and boot Flash on its local PowerPC bus. |
The MPC860 Processor Card is designed to provide maximum flexibility and cycle time reduction for MPC860 developers to build their own MPC860 system. It provides 5 board-to- board connectors, which are connected to most useful signals of the MPC860 Communication Controller. Developers can build their own boards to connect to the MPC860 Processor Card and reduce the debugging effort in MPC860 native system. |
